Concert for Ukraine

Antonii Baryshevskyi performed with Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra in charity concert .

Musicians may not have the power to end a war, but music can keep the hope for a better day, and the belief in humanity and solidarity alive. The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra invited thirteen Ukrainian musicians who had fled to come and give a concert together. On Saturday 13 January, they shared the music stand with the members of the orchestra. The young Ukrainian talent Olha Dondyk joined as a conductor, and Ukrainian pianists Antonii Baryshevskyi and Anna Fedorova played works by Silvestrov and Chopin.
